Congratulations to Gilbert High’s Class of 2025!

Your hard work and dedication have brought you this far and will continue to take you far in the future.

GHS is proud to celebrate our 602 graduating seniors. 258 students are college/university-bound and 10 are enlisting in the military. 144 have a GPA of 4.0 or higher and 15 are Student Council officers.

GHS Class of 2025 has been offered $13 million in scholarships and completed over 6,000 of community service hours.

A special congratulations to the GHS Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and Tiger Award.

Gilbert High Valedictorian senior Parker Sorge

Valedictorian - Parker Joshua Sorge

Parker is ranked #1 in GHS’s Class of 2025, with a Quality Point Average (QPA) of 4.94. Parker has participated in Varsity Baseball and DECA, all while practicing photography, computer science, and athletics in his free time.

Parker is also a National Merit Finalist.

Parker will be heading to University of Arizona to major in Aerospace Engineering in order to become an Aerospace Engineer.

 

 

Gilbert High Salutatorian senior Joseph Anthony Badalamenti

Salutatorian - Joseph Anthony Badalamenti

Joseph is ranked #2 in GHS’s Class of 2025, with a Quality Point Average (QPA) of 4.91. Joseph has participated in Speech and Debate and coached Gilbert Accelerated Middle School Speech and Debate, all while doing research, completing three political internships (State Department, Congressional Campaign, Mayoral), helping run two local businesses, and volunteering locally.

Joseph is also a Speech and Debate National Qualifier in Extemporaneous Speaking.

Joseph will be heading to Harvard University to major in Economics in order to become a Venture Capitalist or Lawyer.

 

Gilbert High School Tiger Award senior Elizabeth Acosta

 

Tiger Award - Elizabeth Acosta

Elizabeth has a Quality Point Average (QPA) of 3.13. She has worked several jobs building work experience to get to her preferred job of working with children and is now an educational assistant at Great Hearts Academy as well as a paid preschool assistant in GHS Toybox. She has accomplished this all while fostering her creativity and artistic talent through drawing, coloring, and crafting.

Elizabeth is also earning her ParaPro certification through the Toybox program.

Elizabeth will be heading to Mesa Community College to major in Elementary Education in order to become an elementary or preschool educator.
