Mission

The International Baccalaureate® aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end, the organization works with schools, governments, and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.

These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

An IB Student

Who is the IB Student?

IB students are curious, caring, and trade school or college-bound. They live to learn, are interested in what connects the classroom to the world, and want to travel the world and help others. Someone who wants to join the IB program should not be afraid to challenge themselves and share what inspires them. IB students have all kinds of different interests and talents and want to use them to make our world a better place.

What makes IB different?

The IB learner profile describes a broad range of human capacities and responsibilities that go beyond academic success. These are the traits we look to continuously develop in our IB classes.
