Subject or Grade: SPICE II
Room: 2403; 6th and 7th hour
The SPICE II class is designed to provide students with the opportunity to work on assignments, organize their materials, plan their day, problem solve, and receive direct social skills and executive functioning instruction. Emphasis will be placed on extending and applying socialization, emotional regulation, and study skills.
I am originally from New Jersey and I moved out to Arizona to go to Arizona State University. I graduated from ASU in 2013 and earned my degree in Special Education with a dual degree in Elementary Education. I student taught in the Gilbert District, at Canyon Rim Elementary and loved every minute of it. I had two fantastic mentors and learned a great deal from them. I have worked in various Special Education classroom settings from self-contained to inclusion. I love working with children and being a teacher. I learn just as much being in the classroom as the kids do.
