Barrett Summer Scholars Program at Arizona State University. Barrett Summer Scholars is a summer enrichment program for rising academically-talented eighth, ninth and tenth grade students that prepares them for enrollment and success at Arizona State University and Barrett, the Honors College. This program is a one or two-week session dependent on the students’ grade level during the month of June. Through the Barrett Summer Scholars program, students have the opportunity to stay in residence halls, work with actual ASU faculty, eat in the dining halls, and interact with ASU students. Thus, this is not only an academic experience but also an enriching immersion into what college is like outside of the academics. Students will go on field trips, access Sun Devil facilities such as the fitness complex and the Memorial Union, and receive important university information about financial aid and scholarships.
